A gift card tucked in an envelope gets spent and forgotten. Taped into this book, it becomes a little plan for a good day.
The Holiday Gift Card Book gives every card (or cash!) its own page, kept for a particular kind of day: when you need a coffee, when you want to see a movie, when you would love an afternoon off. When that day comes, she turns to the page, lifts the card, and goes.
The cards are sorted into four chapters:
Treats. Coffee, sweets, and dinners out.
Outings. Movies, trips, and nights on the town.
Home. Pantry, projects, and the practical.
Rest. Quiet hours, kept for yourself.
At the front, there's a page for your own note to your recipient, plus a To / From / Christmas of page. At the back, there are Small Adventures pages for each month (what was hoped for and how it went) and Keepsakes pages for favorite places found this year and things worth doing again. Long after the cards are spent, she still has the book.
